Best Sunscreen 2017

Eid Mubarak to all of you ❤
As I talked about Need of Sunblocks and Sunscreens in my previous post, today let’s talk about few of my favourites Sunblocks that may assist you, girls, to select your perfect sunblock.
I have used many different sunscreens in past couple of years. Today I will just talk about the ones which have worked best for me.

The Body Shop Skin defence Multi-Protection Essence SPF50

Many bloggers and YouTubers are raving about this product. This is not called a sunblock or sunscreen or sun cream etc but it is used for protecting your skin from the UV rays. It has an SPF of 50 and is specially made for Asian skin. It has a watery texture so it doesn’t feel oily on the skin and absorbs perfectly into the skin. Unlike most sunblocks, it is an extremely light weight on the skin and once absorbed you don’t even feel as if you have something on your skin. Due to its moisturizing property, it is great for dry skin but can also be used on oily skin. It gives you a glowy finish which I personally don’t prefer so I mattify it using a face powder. It can be used on face and body.
It is 40ml product for £16 and when this comes to Pakistan it costs PKR 3,000+, which I feel is very pricey for 40ml of the product but if you are a “The Body Shop” junkie or if you prefer moisturizing sunscreen like me or if you are finding some good sunscreen for combination skin splurge in it because all these things are rarely found in most of the sunblocks.
You can find it on The Body Shop’s outlet or online at The Body Shop, Amazon or at Shoppers Pk.

Neutrogena® Ultra Sheer® Dry-Touch Sunscreen

This is one of the best sunscreens in the National and International market. The product is described as a breakthrough in sun protection. This sunscreen is available in wide variety of SPF which ranges from SPF 30 to SPF 100+. It is thick but absorbs really well into the skin. Only pea size or less amount of the product is used to cover the whole face. It doesn’t leave any white cast on skin. It is non-moisturizing and will suit oily skin, not sure if it works for dry skin as well. It is waterproof and sweat proof so it’s perfect for your outdoor swimming and doesn’t go away with sweat in this scorching summer heat. Also, it doesn’t clog your pores. Due to its water resistant property, it doesn’t go anywhere so you don’t need to retouch it frequently. It gives the slightest glow to the skin for which I need to set it with face powder.
It is 88ml of the product for 1300 to 1500 PKR depending on from where you buy it.
It is available at most of the drugstores and online here

Neutrogena® Ultra Sheer® Body Mist Sunscreen

It is the sister product of Neutrogena® Ultra Sheer® Dry-Touch Sunscreen but in spray form. It also has a wide SPF range. It is water resistant, noncomedogenic and oil free formula. It is perfect for sun screening your body i.e arms, hands, legs, foot etc. I have never used it on the face so I don’t know how well it works on the face.
It is a 141g product for PKR 1300 here. Also, you can find it in drugstores at similar price range.

Now coming towards the local market, there are a few products that I really like.

Solar 60 Sungaurd Cream

This product retails for PKR 380 in Pakistani market and hands down this is the best Sunblock I have ever found. I keep going back to it every now and then. I have almost used 4-5 tubes. It is greasy but once absorbed it dries out completely. It is not for dry skin as it flakes on dry skin and becomes patchy. But you can make it work on dry skin too with hell lot of moisturizer. Only pea size amount is used to cover whole face and neck. It doesn’t give the flash back and stays on the skin for a longer period of time. It works best on oily, normal and combination skin. This is the only sunblock which I do not need to mattify with powder.
It is a 50gram product for PKR 385 which is quite affordable and it works the long way.
You can easily find it on any medical store and online on Pills Hill.

Stiefel Sunblock Sunblock Cream

This is the last product of today’s post. This Sunblock cream works great on dry skin. If you are oily skin or even combination skin this is not for you. It is way too oily and greasy but absorbs well into the skin. Like most other sunblocks, it leaves skin glowy. This glow is very natural and beautiful, something like an inner glow. I mattify it like I do with other dewy sunblocks but if you like a within glow for daily wear go for this sunblock. Also, it is water resistant so it doesn’t go anywhere even on hot sweaty days. One thing I don’t like about this sunblock is that it takes lot more time to settle into the skin than any other moisturizer, but when settles you are sorted for 4-5 hours.
It is a 20gm product for PKR 300 which is affordable but if you are an out going person keep a backup with you because 20grams won’t last you long.
It is available on all the Pharmacies and you can also order it online here

Yes, pretty ladies, these are my Top Five Favorite Sunblocks. As I have mentioned in my previous post, I apply moisturizer before applying any kind of Sunblock. This trick works for me and it might work for you guys too. Also, see which sunblock suits your skin best and only use that one because not every product is for everyone.
I hope you found both of my Sunblock post useful if you haven’t checked the previous one about Sun Care | Sun Screening | Sun Blocking, check here. That is it for now. Do tell in the comments which sunblock works great for you and I will surely check that too. If you want me to give a full review on any of these do let me know.
Thank you so much for your time guys I really appreciate that.
