Peshawar has so many energetic people and the liveliness of VRD9 finally caught Peshawar on 15th December 2017 as it launched at Galactic Space, Peshawar.
Firstly, I would just like to give a shout out to for the invite to the amazing pre-launch by Qadeer Bhai, Triangle PR and JQ brothers. They said that it was an amazing Virtual Reality(VR) ride which I had never experienced before. I have heard a lot about it from my dad, who has had these kind of rides in China and so I just had to check it out.
This was my second visit to the place, since I first went there for a Motion Ride. It is a nice and colourful place, full of lights with a highly family friendly environment, in accordance with Peshawari traditions.
There were a couple of things launched at the Galactic Space. I will talk about them one by one.
VR9D (Virtual Reality in 9D)
First, I will talk about the star of the show. Virtual Reality 9D is an amazing ride that takes you away from reality into a wonderland. It takes you into an environment of its own – a reality that you can’t even imagine and are reluctant to experience.
So basically, it has three seats and three people can enjoy a ride simultaneously. When you sit in, a person assists you with your belt, VR glasses and handles etc. Once you are all set, you already know you are somewhere out of the world.
I have heard that they have a variety of rides and the one I had was a Free Fall. I won’t tell you what I saw in the ride, as it’s a must try for all of you and I don’t wanna spoil the fun. but I would just like to tell you that it was as real as the Free Fall ride I experienced in Lahore. In fact, I must say it was way more enjoyable and scarier than the Lahore one.
I screamed so much during the ride that my brother was holding my hand so that I could remember that it wasn’t real. Trust me, it was so solid. The seats moved with the ride and there was sound coming as you moved which felt so real. It also showed you people around you in the ride. It was outstanding.
Baby Bears were also launched at this event. These are similar to VRD9 but for children. The kids used VR glasses connected to the Baby Bear to play some VR games.
STEM education was also launched for kids by Mr Ali Durrani, in collaboration with Galactic Space, but I will have a another blog dedicated to it so you guys will have to wait for that.
I really enjoyed the experience and I highly recommend it to every one who visits Peshawar. This was something Peshawar really needed and this launch has definitely taken Peshawar to a new level.
Finally, I would like to thank Qadeer bhai once again, the man behind Galactic Space, for whatever he is doing to take our city to the new heights as well as for the yummy Hi Tea, The Bloggers Meetup and The Meet & Greet Session planned for the Peshawari Bloggers. These events were also organised by Triangle PR so thanks to them too.

Thank you so much for reading, I really appreciate your time and I hope you liked my post. Do let me know in the comments if you have had such a ride and what your experience was like!
