WB by Hemani | Review

Waseem Badami is known as an anchor all around the world due to his “Masoomana Sawal” but not many people know about his brand. Waseem Badami collaborated with Hemani Herbals for the launch of a new brand, “WB by Hemani”. It was launched all around the country and recently they added a new store.

Yes, WB by Hemani came to Peshawar on 15 December 2017.

Bloggers were invited to the launch. We met Waseem Badami at the launch, had a selfie session and then had a tour of the store after he left. We were also given a goodie bag by WB by Hemani.

To see how the store looks from the inside, head over to my Instagram.

Inside the goodie bag:

In the bag, there was a Rose Water Spray by Hemani, an Oil Control Face Wash with Lemon Extract by Hemani, a Naturistic Foot Spray by WB by Hemani and chocolate by Stevia. I have used all of the products for a week and now am here with a review.

Rose Water Spray

First, I really like the packaging. Its bottle resembles those of Victoria Secret’s Mists glass bottles. I haven’t seen such a fine bottle for a Rose Water Spray by any other local company manufacturing rose water. The glass is covered in a very pretty rose pink colour which is extremely attractive.

Rose water is a very good product for your skin care. It has anti-inflammatory properties that can help reduce the redness of the irritated skin, get rid of acne, dermatitis and eczema. It is a great cleanser and aids in removing oil and dirt accumulated in clogged pores. It’s a natural toner and works well for almost every skin type.

I use rose water on daily basis, just by spraying it all over my face or incorporating it into a face pack or making Ubtan so I just love having another backup of rose water. This is 120 ml of a product and even with its luxurious bottle, it costs only Rs. 150, which I feel is highly affordable.

Naturistic Foot Spray

What comes to your mind while thinking of a foot spray?

Yes, this claims to help eliminate foot odour while providing a refreshed and cooling effect, and that is exactly what it does.

It has a gel-like consistency which stays on your feet for a very long time. My feet are never smelly as I am very cautious about it and also I am not fond of closed shoes but still it gave me a fresh and cooling effect. Winter isn’t the best season to use it as it froze my toes once, but when I was in a heated car, it made my feet feel fresh and cool. Thus I am pretty sure it will work amazingly well in the summer.

It smells exactly like the Host candy that all Pakistani kids have tasted. This spray also has antiseptic and anti-inflammatory properties. It really makes feet moisturised, refreshed and odour-free. It is a 100ml product for Rs. 450, which I think is affordable as when I searched for other foot sprays, all were priced at over Rs. 1000.

Oil Control Face Wash with Lemon Extract

By now all of you know that I have a very dry combination skin so I am not the right person for this type of face washes but still I gave it a go. I have used it for a week now and it is a good product for oily skin. It has a thin gel like consistency and smells like lemon flavour. It dries out all the oil leaving it smooth and moisturized. My skin is dry but even on my skin, it doesn’t leave those dry white patches, although my skin definitely needs a moisturizer after this face wash. And yeah I usually spit some Rose Water on my face after it and it works pretty well to keep my skin moisturized. The packaging says to use a small amount of product and for me, a small amount is pea size product as for most of the face wash that is enough but in this case, 3x pea size is required to make foam on my whole face.  It is a 100ml product for Rs. 140 which is quite affordable.

Would I purchase them?

  • The Rose Water, I am definitely gonna stick to this brand unless I find some other brand with such an amazing packaging at such affordable rates so yeah, I will definitely purchase it.
  • The Foot Spray, yes. I like the concept of the product and I will definitely carry it in my bag. This is one more addition to my skincare products. I will definitely try some variants from other brands but for now, this one is my new favourite.
  • The Face Wash, I really like the product and the price but this particular one doesn’t work for my skin. They have other products in this range and I will definitely be trying their Moisturizing Face Wash with Olive Extract and Daily Face Wash with Aloe Extract. I am also looking forward to trying their Whitening Face Wash with Cucumber Extract in the summer in sha ALLAH. So I will not be purchasing this one but I will try some other products from the similar range in sha ALLAH.

I have seen some other products in their store as well and they have very affordable products which I really appreciate. This is it for the review of the products I got from WB by Hemani. Do let me know in the comments what other products you want me to review from WB by Hemani so I can get my hands on them and review them for you guys.

Thank you so much for your time. I highly appreciate it. Stick around for more!
