Nimra Khan portraying a Desi Bride in Alif Allah Aur Insan

We have been talking about Pakistani Dramas on my blog for a long time and I always said that although these dramas don’t portray the real lifestyle of common people of Pakistan, they are highlighting actual domestic issues of the Pakistani community along with their customs. Excelling in showing the culture and tradition of Pakistan all around the world, these dramas usually fail to showcase desi wedding rituals to the world.

Pakistani brides and wedding celebrations are never as simple as shown in most of Pakistani Dramas and nor is the bridal dress and makeup. But after a long time, one of the most popular Pakistani Dramas has succeeded in giving us some traditional wedding goals.

Yes.. if you are following Alif Allah or Insan, you would have seen Nimra Khan going through a very amusing experience, and taking us along with her.

In the season when monochromatic dresses are in trend, Nimra Khan slays her wedding look by wearing this absolutely stunning ivory and red shirt with a bright colourful lehnga and a head-turning chunri dupatta from La Beauté collection by Annus Abrar.

Not only her outfit but her makeup too is portraying a traditional bridal look. Subtle eyeshadows paired with dramatic eyelashes, soft contours with a slight tint on cheeks and a glam on highlight, along with red lipstick do the desi wedding look justice beautifully.

She had her makeup done by Waleed Nadeem & hair done by NABILA for this magnificent look.

Comment below on what you thought of this look?

Don’t forget to read my post on the Sabyasachi bride, and show it some love!

That’s it for today’s post. Thank you so much. I really appreciate your time.
