How to make Powder Ubtan work for your skin type

Ubtan is one of the most ancient skin care methods. It was invented as an ayurvedic skin medicine. Then it became world’s first cosmetic. Later it became an important component of skincare regime, especially in the sub-continental region. In India, it is still used traditionally for the beautification of the body and it has its own special place in Hindu marriages.

It is used as a face wash, scrub, exfoliator and a face pack. For powdered Ubtan you need to mix it with the right product to make it work for your skin type. Today in this article we will guide you on how you can make it work for your skin type.

Dry Skin
If you have dry skin you can add drops of

  • milk
  • yoghurt
  • aloe vera gel
  • coconut oil
  • mustard oil
  • to your Ubtan and it will make you a perfect face wash, scrub, exfoliator and face mask.

Oily Skin

  • lemon juice
  • tomato juice
  • orange juice
  • cucumber extract
  • tea tree oil
to your Ubtan can make it a perfect combination for your Oily Skin.

Combination Skin/Normal Skin
If you have combination skin you can use any one of them according to your preference.

You can also mix it with water if you can’t mix it with anyone of these everytime. Water will work fine with both the skin types, only it won’t give the added effect of countering dryness or oiliness.

Add honey for added effect.

Facial Hair Issue
Finely powdered Ubtan works well if you have facial hairs. Coarsely Powdered Ubtan can help you remove facial hairs but that can be slightly painful. Also adding rose water to Ubtan will dissolve it making it easy to remove from the face and not sticking to your facial hairs.

Now you know the right products for your skin type, wash and exfoliate your skin with your favourite Ubtan and get a rich and healthy skin.
